- Why do we cry when we are emotionally moved? [I did not find any very satisfying answer. Some things about this part of brain activates that part of gland etc. but why in the first place this chain gets started seems not to have been known yet. One explanation (or) is, it signals that I am in particular distress or state and others know what to do. Other explanation says some extra hormones have to be gotten rid of.]
